Creating Shipping Options For Your Hosted Catalog

This article provides instructions for customizing the shipping specifications, of an existing hosted catalog. You can either select an existing Delivery Option or create a new custom option and assign it to your catalog.

 

Prerequisites

  • Audience: Premium Supplier

  • Intent: Update the shipping method for an existing hosted catalog.

  • Access: Must be logged into the Unimarket supplier portal.

 

Steps: Customize Catalog Shipping

1. Change to an Existing Delivery Option

  • Select Catalogs on the left side panel.

  • Click View Catalogs.

 

  • Select the desired hosted catalog name.

  • Click More Actions and select Edit.

  • The Edit Catalog pop-up box will appear.

  • Select the desired option from the Delivery Option dropdown arrow.

  • Click OK to save the change.

 

2. Create and Assign a New Custom Delivery Option

If the desired delivery option is not available, you must create it first.

A. Create the New Delivery Option

  1. While in the Edit Catalog pop-up box (from Step 1), select Create Delivery Option.

  2. The system will redirect you to the Configure Store screen on the Delivery Options tab.

  3. Click +Add Delivery Option to set up a new option.

  4. In the Type field, select the desired delivery type (see table below).

  5. Insert information in all required fields marked with a red asterisk.

  6. Click Create.

Delivery Type OptionDescription
Charge per itemThe specified charge will apply to each line of orders that use this Delivery Option.
Charge per orderThe specified charge will apply to all orders that use this Delivery Option.
Percentage of orderThe charge will be a percentage of the order's value for all orders that use this Delivery Option.
FreeDelivery will be free for all orders that use this Delivery Option.
ManualThis delivery option allows buyers to enter an estimated shipping cost.
PickupThe buyer must pick up all orders that use this Delivery Option.
OtherDelivery will be free for all orders that use this Delivery Option, and you can specify additional instructions.
B. Assign the Newly Created Option

  1. Select Catalogs on the left side panel.

  2. Click View Catalogs.

  3. Select the desired hosted catalog name.

  4. Click More Actions and select Edit.

  5. The Edit Catalog pop-up box will appear.

  6. Select the newly added delivery option from the Delivery Option dropdown arrow.

  7. Click OK.

 

Results/Validation

The selected catalog's shipping specification is now updated and will be used to calculate the Shipping Cost for all future orders placed against it.
