Stripe Workflow

  • Updated

If your Australian customer has requested or requires you to be enabled for Stripe, they can make payments to you as the supplier via real-time merchant services. The merchant service integrated with Unimarket is Stripe.

Note: This functionality is currently only available for Australian customers.

Your arrangement with Stripe is independent of Unimarket and the customer, as Stripe remits the funds directly to you.

How the Integration Works

The process can be broken down into two main phases: Set Up and Transaction.

Set Up

This phase establishes the necessary links and accounts:

  1. Supplier Action: You, the supplier, set up your own account with Stripe.

  2. Linking: You link your Stripe account to your Unimarket Supplier Store.

  3. Customer Visibility: The customer is then enabled to view the Purchasing Card payment option.

Transaction Flow

This is the real-time process when a customer makes a payment:

  1. Customer Payment: The customer uses their P-Card to make a payment to the supplier through the Unimarket solution.

  2. Stripe Processing: Stripe processes the payment through its merchant services.

  3. Settlement: Stripe remits the funds to the supplier's bank account.
