View and Manage Linked Customers

The Customers screen allows suppliers, to view all linked customers, check their trading status, registration requirements and manage the specific information (e.g., addresses, contacts, and email preferences); shared with each linked customer.

 

Prerequisites

  • Audience: Supplier (Existing User)

  • Intent: View customer connection status and manage customer-specific profile data and transactions.

  • Access: Must be logged into the Unimarket supplier portal.

 

Steps

View Linked Customers and Status

To view a summary of customers linked to your profile:

  1. Click the Home icon on the left side panel.

  2. Under the Customers header, a list of customers will display their registration requirements and status.

RequirementsHover over the icon.A pop-up shows the customer's mandatory registration requirements and which portions of your profile are completed.
StatusConnectedTrading is enabled between this community and your profile.
 PendingThe community-supplier connection is pending. The community must connect (enable) the supplier before trading can commence. Contact your community contact person for inquiries.
 DisconnectedThis community does not wish to trade with the supplier. Reach out to your community contact person for more insight, as they manage the connection status.

Manage Customer-Specific Details

To manage the specific details and transactions for a customer:

  1. Select Profile on the left panel.

  2. Click Customers.

 

  1. Select the desired customer name to view their details and transactions.

 
Customer Screen Overview (Setup Tab)

The Setup tab allows you to manage contact information and addresses specific to this customer.

  • Remittance Address: The current remittance address available to the customer is displayed. If you Switch to Advanced Mode, you can update the remittance address for this specific customer without changing your profile's default address.

  • Contact Management: The desired contact person is assigned here. If you Switch to Advanced Mode, you can update the contact person for this specific customer without changing your profile's default contact.

  • Customer Email Contact Preferences: Update the email address(es) to ensure you receive specific subject type email notifications. If you Switch to Advanced Mode, you can update these addresses for related customer notifications.

    • Note: Unimarket supports one email address per subject field.

  • If additional email addresses are shown for linked organization units, select Actions and click Edit to update them.

 

Review Transaction and Communication History

 

The tabs across the top of the customer screen list all transactions and communications between you and this specific customer.

Sending a Comment to Desired Customer

To communicate with your customer:

  1. Go to the Comments tab.

  2. Select +Add Comment. Your comment will be sent as a notification to your customer and housed here.

    • Note: Comments related to catalogs are found by going to Catalogs on the left panel -> View Catalogs -> select desired catalog -> Comments tab.

  3. Once completed, select Send.
